Finally to end off Slow Cooker week (that’s right, we started the year off with crock pot cooking -a lazy guide to the most delicious dinners!) we bring you a bit of a twist, slow cooked dr pepper infused pulled pork. This is so good loaded up with some slaw in a fresh roll.
3-4 lb Pork Loin Roast
Pork Rub or your favorite seasonings (garlic, salt, pepper, zest of lemon)
12 oz Dr Pepper
1) Season pork with your rub on all sides.
2) Place in slow cooker and pour in Dr Pepper.
3) Cook on low 10-12 hours.
4) Drain most remaining liquid.
5) Use tongs to shred pork.
6) Add barbecue sauce to taste (or the whole bottle!)
Serve on buns with some crunchy slaw!
